美丽的夕阳 beautiful sunset

today, when i walked home after school, it was a little late, because i studied with my friends after school. i realized the cloud was like burning. the color was so red. the sun was very round and big. it went down the mountain slowly. i slowed down my pace and enjoyed the sunset. it made me think of my happy time when i stayed in my hometown. at that time, i could sit at my front yard and appreciated the sunset. it was the best moment for me. the nature is so beautiful. if we slow down our life pace, we can find the beauty of our life.

今天，因为放学后跟朋友一起学习了，所以回家的时候有点晚了。我发现天上的云就像在燃烧着一样，非常红。太阳又大又圆，慢慢地下山。我放慢脚步，享受着夕阳。这让我想起在家乡的美好时光。那个时候，我可以坐在我的前院欣赏日落，这对我来说是最美好的时刻。大自然是如此的美丽，如果我们放慢生活节奏，就可以发现生活的美。

干净的水 the clean water

when i was very small, i stayed in the hometown with my grandparents. i had the great time there, i liked the environment so much. there was a long river in front of my house, the water was very clean, i could see the small fish swim. my grandma usually washed her clothes along the river side. but now when i went back to my hometown, the river was very dirty, the water was light yellow and there were so many rubbish floating in the river. it made me feel that the river had lost its life. i missed the old time when i was playing in the river. it is human being that ruin the environment, if we don’t take action to protect it, we will destroy ourselves.

the summer vacation began. i decided to work to make money for the ne_t term. but i didn’t know what work i could do.

我开始工作。我打字很慢，我只能每天打几百个单词。对我来说这是一个艰难的工作。我一直在打字。

我陪妈妈在商场买东西的时候认识一个小孩。他正在商场附近的垃圾堆里捡垃圾，我们俩年龄相仿。他告诉我家里没人关心他。妈妈死了以后爸爸给他娶了一个后妈，后妈不喜欢他而且老打骂他。对他来说，家就像地狱一般。于是这个孩子开始逃学然后索性离家出走。他宁愿自由自在地与垃圾为伍。多可怜的孩子呀!

a poor kid

i knew a kid when i went shopping with my mother in a mall. he was picking something in the rubbish cans near the mall. he was nearly of the same age with me. he told me that no one care about him when he was at home. his mother died and his father remarried so he has a stepmother who disliked him and often beat him. to him, home was just like a hell.so he began to play truant and then at last he left his home. he preferred living freely wth rubbish. what a poor kid he is!

以前的星期天我基本都玩过去了，可是现在我的星期天变得有意义多了。事情是这样的：有一次老师带领我们去参观福利院，那里住的都是没有爸爸妈妈的孤儿。他们真可怜呀!有的儿童已经到了上学的年龄，可是他们仍没有背上书包。于是我想，我们家离福利院很近，我可以每个星期天去一次，然后把我上课学到的东西教给他们。这多有意义啊。当我把这个想法告诉老师时，她同意了。从那以后我就是那里的义务小老师了。

during sundays

i used to idle away my sundays. but now i have more meaningful thing to do. one day our teacher took us to visit the welfare house. there lived the orphans. some of them are of school age already. but they don have the chance to go to school yet. so why couldn i teach them what i had learnt in the classes on sundays? my home is close to the weffare house. wasn it a good idea?

when i told my teacher this, she looked at me with a yes on her face. from then on, i act as a little voluntary teacher there on sundays.

last night, i watched a movie, it is about two teenagers, they have cancer, but the boy is positive about life while the girl is negative about life. they meet each other, then the girl is affected by the boy, she starts to see the beautiful things in her life. i am so moved by the movie, though the ending of the movie is not so perfect, we see the change of the girl’s life. the topic of the movie is to tell people to be positive about life, no matter what happens, even the bad fortune they get, they still need to smile every day. people need to find the beauty of life, so they won’t life live without meaning.

today, i have the geography class. i am afraid of the geography class, because i have the bad memory and can’t remember the places. but in this class, our teacher does something different, she shows us many pictures and tells us many interesting things about her trips. i listen to her carefully. i like this lesson, it is vivid and i can learn many things about geography.
