五一那天，天气晴朗，我和爷爷一起去栽棉花苗。

山坡上各种各样的花儿竞相开放，一大群蜜蜂“嗡嗡翁”地在花间飞来飞去;几只蝴蝶也飞来了，它们美丽的翅膀在花丛中时隐时现。田埂旁边，到处是青青的小草，叶片上面还有几颗露珠儿，迎着太阳闪闪发亮。两只鸭子跳进池塘，在水里欢腾跳跃，互相追逐。老牛打着响嚏，在辛勤地耕田;远处传来一阵阵拖拉机的轰鸣声。

我和爷爷来到棉花地，爷爷刨坑，我插棉花苗，最后爷爷盖土。爷爷刨坑真迅速，我插苗还没有他刨坑快，他一会儿就走到前面去了，我不由得加快了速度。很快我们就插了五拢地，直累得我腰酸背疼。

我直起腰，用手擦了擦满头大汗。放眼望去，泥土黑油油的，绿色的麦苗正吮吸着阳光雨露茁壮成长。前面的稻田里，农民把裤腿扎得高高的，正在插秧。东头的菜沟里，闪着五颜六色的花衣裳，那是奶奶和婶娘们正在菜地里忙活儿。小河里的水哗哗的流着，姑娘们一边洗衣服，一边嬉闹。

一年之计在于春，大家都在争分夺秒地忙乎着，希望今年有一个好收成。我也不敢怠慢，赶紧加快手上的动作，继续插棉花苗了。
